Well, it is hard to say/believe that fall is upon us here in Southern California...today I think we were up near 96 degrees. Sheesh. Not quite the cool, crisp air that we dream of come October. However, if fall won't come to us, we attempt to bring fall to the south land - one activity at a time! This weekend the Wright family drove out east to the Oak Glen area - a mountain community of apple orchards and pumpkin patches.
Evie really liked reaching out to the apples and trying to pick them - she liked sucking/gnawing on them even more! She was really happy until we tried to share the apples with her - she just wanted her own!
It was a beautiful afternoon - completed with chili when we got home! An apple pie is in our near future, as well :)
