We were so lucky to have the help of our parents after Ezra was born. My dear mother arrived a mere 40 hours after his arrival and was such a great blessing to us during those first few days. Not only were we adjusting to 2 children and trying to help a 16 month old child deal with this new creature, but I got mastitis, and Evie got an ear infection! I don't know what we would have done without the extra help and hands! My dad arrived soon after as well as did Bob and Sue - all fabulous helpers. Having her grandparents here for a month really helped Evie to get used to Ezra while having lots of attention given to her. She loved those days...waking up in the morning to come out and find Gma and Gpa, playing, running, laughing, and especially reading books with these 4 people that she loves so dearly. I can not express enough how grateful we were for the help!
