Speaking

Besides telling everyone that her name is Peppermint, EvieD keeps us laughing with all sorts of things these days. Enjoy some of these 'Evie-isms' as of lately...

After a 'wonderful' birthday dinner out with my 2 young, energetic, not-quiet children...
Me: Evie, did you become a crazy lady?
Evie: I did. I turned 2. 2 is so old.

While listening to her (favorite) cd of Veggie Tales in the car, one of the characters says 'way to go, buddy' to another character...
Evie: Buddy?! Larry Cucumber not buddy! Buddy the dog! (referring to a friends dog named ...Buddy)

While driving home at night...
Evie: Mama, where we going?
Me: We are going home, Ev.
Evie: Why?
Me: It's late, Ev, it's time for bed.
Evie (as dramatically as you can imagine): Nooooooooooo! Don't talk about it!


And, Ezra man, is getting so good at 'da-da, bbbbb, and ma-ma!'
Appropriately, he yells 'da-da' when he's happy and squealing and 'ma-ma' when he is mad or upset!
Our sitter, last week, commented on how vocal Ezra is getting. He can just be heard babbling away these days...especially upon waking up after a good sleep :)


On this Valentine's Day, my heart could not be much fuller than it is today. Love these crazy little of mine.
