In the picture with my parents, you see them with the 3 grandkids last Christmas...remember, Ezra made his entry into this world in May. Last winter, MN had record snow falls and the kids played and played in the mounds of white fluffiness.
Note: my nephews are from TX, so like my CA kids, snow is a rare and exciting occurance!
This year, however, MN is breaking records for the high temperatures we are experiencing! Today was a balmy 47 degrees! Needless to say, there is no, or at least very minimal snow! Poor Ezra didn't have a white, first Christmas like his sister, but we have gone on many walks and not had to deal with all the slush and sub-zero temps! My dad was able to find a small patch of snow, in the same place that the snow picture was taken last Christmas, to make a little snowman with the kids this afternoon!
Instead of stomping snow off our shoes before going back into the house, we had to walk through the grass to get the mud off of our shoes! Really, MN?!
