13 Weeks

Fingerprints!  Thats the big developmental milestone for this week!  Our baby is also about 3 inches long now and is also drinking in amniotic fluid and has the ability to pee it back out!  Crazy that this little person is already functioning in ways that we do too!
So, on Sunday, the actual day of week 13, we were driving ALL DAY.  These pictures, however, were taken on Saturday, during a fabulous, beautiful hike in the Grand Tetons.  It turned out to be a bit longer of a hike then we were anticipating but baby did great and we enjoyed Gods amazing creation.  After our hike, we headed out of the Tetons and up into Yellowstone.  Again, absolutely gorgeous.  We experienced some rain, Old Faithful, got to see some moose and bison!  On Saturday night we camped outside of Yellowstone and then got up early Sunday morning to drive FOREVER.  We ended up getting to MN a day earlier then we had originally planned - we were anxious to get here and see everyone.  This week we are spending time with the Wrights and loving the relaxing, beautiful atmosphere and culture of MN.  We are continuously amazed an how nice people are!  Everyone smiles and asks about your day!  Its great - this is the way we were meant to live.  This weekend, Andrew will ride with my church on a bike trip down to our camp.  We are looking forward to seeing more people and going to camp, too!
For those of you who know it, we have already had Caribou and Brueggers and are now sitting at Dunn Brothers Coffee...some of the midwests finest establishments.  Todays high is about 75 degrees with a light breeze, the sun is shining and the grass is glowing green!  Love it.
