Final preparations and events are underway...
1. attending a wedding in Malibu on a beautiful, January day
2. Andrew fixed our breaks so that we can safely transport our baby home
3. sleeping Becca...with a big belly...stocking up on all my sleep while I can!
Dr news...
1. 70% effaced
2. dilated to 1 cm
3. seeing the doctor again on Monday :)
Thoughts and feelings...
1. anxious...waiting is the worst part!
2. exhaustion at the end of school days...I've been back for a week now and am so thankful for the 3 day weekend!
3. anticipation! excitement! we CANNOT wait to meet this girl and see what she looks like, what her personality will be, etc!
4. enjoyment...I'm trying to love the last moments and days of being pregnant and enjoy every moment knowing that this will soon pass and this phase of life will be over. I have loved having the privelege to carry this child and am so thankful that God has granted me/us this opportunity. I will miss her movements and flutterings inside!
5. nervousness...parenting will be a new adventure that we are looking forward to with a blind eye! We have no idea what to expect or what we are getting into, but we are excited to learn and enter this new phase of life.
6. Overall, JOY. We are filled with joy as we wait for the arrival of our daughter and grateful for the Lords provision. We have so much to be thankful for!
