Outside Girl

E LOVES playing outside. As soon as we get out of the car, she goes straight towards the toys or the other kids if they are outside. She loves going up and down the drive-way, spinning in circles in the drive-way, finding treasures in the grass, etc. She is an outside girl.

One of my favorite interactions happened the other day while I was hanging diapers out on the line. Evie was wandering around in the grass and found some dandilions. She picked a few and was sniffing them. I would say "oh, pretty" and she would hold it up to her hair...this is because I always say "oh pretty" when we are coming her hair or putting pigtails in!

When I finished hanging the diapers, I was telling her about the flowers and how they are called dandiLIONS...suddenly she "roarrred" at me! Get it?? - dandi LIONS! That was the only part she heard! Love it.

Here she is playing in Zoe's boat! Ev loves climbing in and out of it by herself, rocking the boat, driving the steering wheel and moving the shifter up and down. So much fun for EvieD!

The weather has been lovely this week, too - providing ample opportunity for playtime outside!
