Baking

Last week, we needed to make a dessert to bring to our small group. Evie and I decided to whip up a batch of (boxed) sugar cookies! She very much enjoyed helping, Ezra loved watching, and I enjoyed the dough...even though I didn't let her see me eating it!

So, first of all, we need to talk about how cute this apron is that Evie is wearing! My sister got this for her for Christmas last year and this was the first time she wore it! LOVE it.

So, Evie sat in the bumbo seat and mixed and stirred.

All the while, Ezra was in his bouncy seat chatting away with his giraffe!

Evie very much enjoyed the part when she got to "squish" the dough and then make a circle!

Not perfectly shaped, but ready for baking!

Then it is time to bake and wait!

They're done! Ready to frost and eat!

Soooo excited about the frosting....

Soooo mad that Mommy won't let her eat just frosting by the spoonful...

Finally, enjoying her creation!
