The short version of a long story...

I was recently asked to join the Bethel University Alumni Board - yea! I love Bethel!

This means that I had to be at Bethel for Homecoming Weekend...again, yea!

No grandparent of my children was going to let me come home without the kids.

Therefore, I brought them both with me. An adventure.

I participated in the Homecoming events, the Es were with my parents, we went to the game, had a great time.

On Sunday, October 2, I flew back to CA with Ezra. I also cried as I left Evie in MN.

Evie then spent 2 days with my parents and 2 days with Andrews.

She loved it.

So did they.

I loved my time with Ezra but missed my girl.

Ezra discovered his voice and ability to screech while his usually talkative sister was gone!

Andrew flew to MN on Thursday.

They went to the SJU game, the apple orchard, a gopher game, etc.

We all got to experience the GLORIOUS fall weather and amazing trees.

Andrew and Evie came back to my arms last night.

Today Evie can't stop kissing Ezra.

All of my ducklings are back in the nest.
