We have officially made it to the "home stretch"! I don't think I'm quite ready to claim that yet but there are only a mere 11 weeks to go at this point! My growing belly is evidence of this and there is no denying that baby Wright is actively growing. I love being in public now because people are so great! Last week, at the grocery store, a nice lady unloaded my cart for me onto the cashier counter because she thought I looked so uncomfortable bending over so much to get the groceries at the bottom of the cart! After that, a nice man in the parking lot returned my cart for me so I wouldn't have to walk all the way back to the cart return :) On Friday, I was at Restoration Hardware and the manager was so goofy! She had to come out from behind the counter and talk to the baby and rub my tummy! It's a good thing that I don't mind AT ALL people being in my "personal bubble" or touching me! I love it, actually.
We had an amazing weekend in MN last weekend. Andrew and I were so blessed by the love and encouragement we received from so many of you. We feel much more ready for ______ to arrive because of the help we got in preparing for her arrival. Thank you to everyone who came out to share in this exciting new chapter of life. We are very grateful. It was hard to leave and we anxiously await returning in the spring with our little girl!
In other news, I failed my initial glucose test a few weeks ago. Boo. Last week I had to spend several hours in a lab having the 3 hour test done. I haven't gotten the results yet but we have an appointment on Wednesday, so hopefully we will know more then. Please pray that I don't have gestational diabetes! This is something that I just really don't want to have to deal with. Until I get the results, I am enjoying every sweet thing that I want without hesitation!
Today I am hoping to put some of _______'s clothes away into her new dresser that we bought this week! We cannot wait for her to arrive :)
The first picture (28 weeks) was after the Bethel game last weekend - it was so good to be back after 5 years of missing games! We had a great time watching Alex and Andy play. The second picture (29 weeks) is at the Griffith Observatory - overlooking Los Angeles as night...what a beautiful city.
Yay for the homestretch! It goes by very quickly. Enjoy those birth classes. It's more for Andrew than it is for you, he'll need to remember what to do b/c you won't be thinking about what you learned in class. :o)
