Magnolias

Last year, when Evie was just a few weeks old, we happened across the Magnolia Trees at the LA Arboretum when they were at their peak. The trees are gorgeous when in full bloom! She was such a little peanut back then!

Since then, we have gotten a membership to the Arboretum and we love going and walking around just for an hour or so and spending some time outside. We were really hoping to catch the magnolias again this year but ended up going a bit too late. There were still a few flowers on the trees and we still enjoyed them, but nothing like last year!

It was a beautiful spring day for the end of February, so we packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed the perfect weather. Evie loved being able to run free in the grass and explore the gardens!
